Teradici Remote Workstation Card Firmware 4.7.4 Release Notes

Release Status: General Availability (GA)

A recently identified issue has been reported which affects connectivity from any Teradici PCoIP Software Client. Zero Client connectivity is not affected. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible and recommend you use firmware 4.7.5 for Tera2 Remote Workstation Cards to maintain a usable session with the Teradici PCoIP Software Client.

Release Overview:

Tera2 PCoIP Remote Workstation Card Firmware 4.7.4 includes stability fixes, an important audio fix when used with Linux, and is required to support locally terminated Wacom Tablets. This firmware is specific to Tera2 Remote Workstation Cards and cannot be used on Zero Clients. This article  provides a summary of key feature additions, compatibility notes, and known issues for this firmware release.

Important Notes:

  • If you are connecting your workstation to Tera2 zero clients with an attached Wacom Tablet, you require Tera2 zero client firmware version 4.8.0p91(available through the PCoIP Host Software for Linux 4.7.0 GA package).
  • Firmware 4.5.1 or 4.6.0 will be used as a minimum firmware required prior to moving to any newer release of PCoIP firmware.
  • Individual releases are provided for Tera2 processor-based products, and a combined format for PCoIP Management Console 1.x.
