Management Console 1.9.1 Release Notes

NOTE: PCoIP Management Console 1.9.1 is no longer supported. Please refer to the Management Console Product page for our current release.

Release Overview: PCoIP Management Console 1.9.1 GA is a minor release to support Firmware 4.1.2 for Tera1 and Tera2 devices.

Note: There are individual releases for Tera1 and Tera2 processor-based products, and a combined package that can be uploaded to the PCoIP Management Console. The Management Console will intelligently apply the firmware based on the managed device processor type.

Enable Preferred Resolution Override
(Zero client setting)

Under "Display Configuration" in the profile settings, added an option to “Enable Preferred Resolution Override” to enable and specify a preferred resolution for a display that cannot be detected by the system.

 
Accept Any Peer

Added the option to enable the PCoIP Host Card to “Accept Any Peer”.

 
Auto Connect Mode:

Added support for Auto Connect Mode with options to automatically connect to the connection server once or continuously retry.

Display Suspend

When users are in-session, a display may be suspended after a specified HID inactivity timeout.

Deployments using the PCoIP Management Console to manage Tera2 endpoints must use PCoIP MC release 1.8.1 or newer.

 
Deployments using the PCoIP Management Console to manage Tera1 endpoints must use PCoIP MC release 1.7.0 or newer.
Using the latest release of the PCoIP Management Console is recommended.

Workaround: Enable and configure DHCPv6 or SLAAC to set this field or configure the field statically using the device Administrative Web Interface.  
 
Workaround: Install the released patch as described in knowledge base article 1765.
This will be fixed in the next MC release.
Workaround: Update the firmware using the Administrative Web Interface or use PCoIP Management Console 1.8.1p1
