Teradici Launches Partner Program, Expands APIs and SDKs to Simplify Development of Tailored Solutions for New Markets

Teradici Advantage Partner Program (TAPP) supports collaboration and go-to-market strategies for integration of PCoIP® technology into products and services

Burnaby, Canada (March 3, 2020) Teradici®, the creator of industry-leading PCoIP® technology and Cloud Access Software, has announced the formal launch of the Teradici Advantage Partner Program (TAPP), an initiative to enable organizations to build, deploy, and deliver innovative remoting solutions using Cloud Access Software and its integrated PCoIP technology.

Designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), TAPP provides resources and support for companies integrating Cloud Access Software and PCoIP technology within their own solutions for new or existing market opportunities.

PC-over-IP (PCoIP) technology uses advanced display compression to provide end users access to on-premises or cloud-based virtual machines as a convenient alternative to local computers. This virtual workspace architecture compresses, encrypts and transmits only pixels to a broad range of software clients, mobile clients, thin clients and stateless PCoIP Zero Clients, providing a highly secure enterprise environment, while maintaining lossless image reproduction and performance.

The partner package provides access to Teradici SDKs and APIs to assist in integration, as well as professional support for the partner company’s go-to-market efforts, and it can be expanded to include professional support for its integration efforts.

“Teradici’s technology is valued by customers across a broad range of applications and industries, each with its own reasons to use PCoIP technology in its virtualization strategy,” said Ziad Lammam, vice president of product management for Teradici. “Collaborating closely with business partners enables us to jointly deliver more tailored solutions to this diverse group of customers. In the end, customers will benefit from innovative solutions designed by partners who are closely in tune with their unique needs, and we’re excited to see what the future holds as additional partners leverage the program’s benefits to apply our technology in new ways.”

Teradici continues to expand its set of APIs, SDKs, and its Professional Services to support these collaborative efforts. The latest release (2020.01) of Cloud Access Manager, for example, offers new APIs to enable automation and customization of services such as provisioning with PCoIP technology and Cloud Access Software. TAPP members can also take advantage of Teradici Professional Services team to support their integration and product launch. Additionally, Teradici’s Developer Support team can help with best practices, programming advice, validation, and documentation issues to accelerate time to market.

Early TAPP partners have already seen the benefits of the program as it has taken shape.

“We’re seeing a transition in media enterprises to a more consistent use of hybrid cloud for storage, collaboration, and even editing workflows in which time and location become less of a constraint,” said Ray Thompson, director of Market Solutions - Broadcast and Media at Avid. “Avid has integrated Teradici’s PCoIP technology into its Edit on Demand SaaS offering, which allows us to offer a solution that enables a transition to cloud-based workflows in a highly secure and performance-driven environment.”

“In developing its secure service delivery platform, Tehama understands the importance of the role that remote display technology plays in connecting the global workforce. Beyond offering performance, efficiency and the broadest compatibility across all clients and servers, a remote display technology must have outstanding developer support,” said Jaymes Davis, founder and director of product strategy for Tehama. “The broad industry adoption of both PCoIP and Teradici Cloud Access Software across both multicloud DaaS and VDI markets and Teradici’s expertise in developing remote display technologies make our collaboration essential to accelerating the delivery of our vision for secure service delivery.”
