Welcome to the Teradici PCoIP® Management Console 2 Administrator Guide. This documentation explains how to install and use your PCoIP Management Console 2 to discover, configure, and manage your PCoIP endpoints.
PCoIP Management Console 2 provides IT administrators with a browser-based console for managing Tera2 PCoIP Zero Client endpoints. Administrators can quickly provision new devices, review metrics, configure settings, update firmware, and view event logs. Based on Teradici’s PCoIP Management Protocol, the PCoIP Management Console delivers a secure and reliable way to configure and manage the endpoints in your PCoIP deployment.
The PCoIP Management Console works on the general premise that endpoints are managed in groups, and that configurations are pushed out to endpoints in profiles that you create and associate with groups. From the PCoIP Management Console you can perform such tasks as the following:
PCoIP Management Console 2 is packaged as an Open Virtualization Format (OVA) file for quick and easy deployment on a VMware Horizon ESXi host.
PCoIP Management Console 2 comes in two editions—PCoIP Management Console Enterprise Edition and PCoIP Management Console Standard Edition. The banner on the PCoIP Management Console’s web interface identifies which edition you are running.
PCoIP Management Console Enterprise Edition enables large enterprise deployments to manage up to 20,000 Tera2 PCoIP Zero Clients from a single console. PCoIP Management Console Enterprise Edition supports multiple administration users and includes the assurance of support and maintenance for both the Tera2 PCoIP Zero Client firmware and PCoIP Management Console. PCoIP Management Console Enterprise Edition is available through subscription licensing.
The PCoIP Management Console Enterprise Edition banner is displayed at the top of every PCoIP Management Console web interface page, as shown in the following example.

PCoIP Management Console Standard Edition enables a single administrator to manage a basic deployment of up to 2,000 Tera2 PCoIP Zero Clients, as well as to upgrade firmware, manage configuration profiles, discover devices, and schedule actions.
The PCoIP Management Console Standard Edition banner is displayed at the top of every PCoIP Management Console web interface page. A user message about Standard Edition also displays when you first connect to PCoIP Management Console Standard Edition, as shown in the following example.
