System Requirements¶
The following table outlines the system requirements for the PCoIP Software Client for Linux:

Important: Ubuntu 18.04 will be deprecated
This is the final release of the Software Client for Linux that will support Ubuntu 18.04. Future releases will not support Ubuntu 18.04.
Note: h264 hardware decode
The Software Client for Linux supports h264 hardware decode under limited conditions; see H.264 Hardware Decode for more information.
Hardware System Requirements¶
For different display configurations Teradici recommends certain processor and RAM combinations:
- For up to dual 1920 x 1080 display configuration Teradici recommends 1.6 GHz dual core processor or higher with at least 4 GB RAM.
- For up to dual 4K/UHD Teradici recommends a 3.0 Ghz quad core processor or higher with at least 8GB Dual Channel RAM.
