What's New In this Release?

The following features are supported in this release of the PCoIP Software Client for Linux:

Local Termination of Wacom Intuos Pro Medium, Wacom Intuos Pro Large and Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 - Pen Only¶

This releases supports local termination of Wacom Intuos Pro Medium, Wacom Intuos Pro Large and Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 - Pen only. Locally-terminated tablets have greatly improved responsiveness, and tolerate higher-latency networks.

Detect Monitors Feature¶

Detect monitors is a new menu item has been added that enables users to trigger the client to recognize if there has been a change in the displays connected to the Client. For example when you plug in a projector into a laptop. This feature would extend the remote workstation to include the projector without having to disconnect or reconnect to the session.

PCoIP Ultra Enhancements¶

This release includes NVEnc 4:2:0 colorspace transformation support for PCoIP Ultra.

Direct Connect to Remote Workstation Cards Depreciated¶

PCoIP brokering can now be used to connect to the Remote Workstation Card. You can still connect to a non-brokered Remote Workstation Card by connecting to the FQDN of the workstation instead of the FQDN of the Remote Workstation Card. This method of connection requires the RWC agent to be installed on the workstation.
