Teradici has worked with leading equipment manufacturers to optimize PCoIP software for third-party processors and operating system platforms. PCoIP Optimized Thin Clients offer solid performance and additional flexibility with features such as WiFi support.

Zero clients are hardware based clients that use a purposed built silicon processor from Teradici. They have no operating system or local storage. PCoIP Optimized Thin clients are software clients developed by Teradici to run on a partner’s hardware and operating system. Zero clients offer the best possible security and performance. PCoIP Optimized Thin clients offer a balance between performance, security and flexibility. They generally support multiple protocols and in many cases, you can install software or drivers in the local operating system.

The HP t410, Dell Wyse D10DP, and Dell Wyse 5213 clients deliver more than 8 Mpps (mega pixels per second) when connected to a virtual desktop session. The actual pixel performance achievable is dependent on the performance capability of the virtual machine (number of vCPUs, amount of memory, configuration settings) and the workload that is being driven (video, multiple displays, active scrolling, etc). Performance for other client hardware will differ and will be available for individual products as they ship.
