Thin Client Licensing Messaging

The following table outlines the UI messages relating to to Thin Client Access that user's may see from the PCoIP Client.

Access Area PCoIP Client UI Message Explanation
Trial Period "Thin Client Access Trial expires: 2020-12-12" This message occurs the first time the client is started once it has been received from the factory. In this example 2020-12-12 is 90 days from the date of activation.
Trial Period "Thin Client Access Trial expired on: 2020-12-12" This message occurs after the customer has started the client one of more times and has not completed the license configuration before the trial period ends. In this example "2020-12-12" is the date the trial period ended.
Perpetual License "Thin Client Access Valid" This message occurs when the client has a properly configured perpetual license with the 1 year free maintenance and support.
Subscription License "Thin Client Access license valid until: 2020-12-12" This message occurs when the client has a properly configured subscription license up until the date of expiry. In this example "2020-12-12" is the date the license expires.
Subscription License "Thin Client Access License valid until: 2020-12-12 Your license will expire in (n) days. Please contact your IT administrator." This message occurs when the client has a properly configured subscription license that is about to expire. In this example "2020-12-12" is less than 30 days away from the day the message appears.
Subscription License "Thin Client Access License is no longer valid as of: 2020-12-12 This product will stop working in (n) days. Please contact your IT Administrator" This message occurs when the client had a license which recently expired. There is a 14 day grace period after the license expires before the product ceases to work. After 7 days this message will appear in a popup dialog whenever the Client starts.
Subscription License "Thin Client Access License has expired. Please contact your IT Administrator" This message occurs when the client had a license which expired.
Configuration Errors "[License status message] There was an error parsing the licensing configuration. Please contact your IT administrator" This message occurs if the activation code or LLS URL are not provided
Configuration Errors "[License status message] An activation code has been used too many times" This message occurs when an activation code has been used too many times
Configuration Errors "[license status message] A typo has occured or incorrect activation code has been entered" This message occurs when an incorrect activation code has been entered
Configuration Errors "[license status message] No license. Local License Server available" This message occurs when a license has not been entered
Networking Errors "[License status message] Unable to obtain license. License server not available" This message occurs when the Local License Server is offline and not available
