OSD: Certificate Checking Mode Settings

The Certificate page lets users select how the client behaves if it cannot verify a secure connection to the server. You can access this page from the Options > User Settings > Certificate menu.

Note: If Certificate Check Mode Lockout is enabled from the AWI, users will not be able to modify the settings on this page.

Parameter Description
Never connect to untrusted servers

Configures the client to reject the connection if a trusted, valid certificate is not installed.

Warn before connecting to untrusted servers

Configures the client to display a warning if an unsigned or expired certificate is encountered, or when the certificate is not self-signed and the client trust store is empty.

Do not verify server identity certificates

Configures the client to allow all connections.
