ELSA Japan’s VIXEL D200 PCoIP® Zero-Client Achieves VMware Ready™ Certification
Tokyo, Japan - July 23, 2010 -- ELSA Japan Inc. a leading company in computer graphics solutions announced that the "ELSA VIXEL D200" zero client, based on the Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP®) Technology has achieved VMware Ready status. This designation indicates that ELSA VIXEL D200 has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility List.
Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that ELSA VIXEL D200 makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.
ELSA VIXEL D200 PCoIP zero clients enable simple plug-and-play access to VMware View™ 4 virtual desktops. ELSA VIXEL D200 are CPU-less, HDD-less, and OS-less client devices that require no OS patches, no driver updates or virus signature files for an ultra secure desktop and virtually zero maintenance. Two DVI outputs support high-resolution dual display in virtual desktop environment.
