PC-over-IP products now available from partners EVGA, Leadtek and ELSA

Burnaby, British Columbia March 23, 2009 – Teradici® Corporation, the industry leader in delivering a true PC experience over standard IP networks, announces that its groundbreaking PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®) technology is now available worldwide in new products from partners EVGA Corporation, ELSA Japan Inc. and Leadtek Research Inc.

EVGA is supplying PCoIP technology as an add-in card solution to PC and workstation users in North America, South America, and Western Europe. EVGA’s HD01 and PD01 products enable the benefits of desktop consolidation to be realized securely across the enterprise while delivering high definition content to the desktop. The EVGA products are available from distributors Ingram Micro, D&H and Synnex.

ELSA Japan, a leading computer graphics & multimedia solution provider based in Tokyo, has implemented Teradici’s PCoIP technology in highly-integrated 3D remote graphics products called the ELSA VIXEL series. Available in Japan, VIXEL products provide scalable and secure remote computing solutions featuring rich graphics performance.

Leadtek Research known globally for its graphics technology, is marketing Teradici PCoIP technology as the WinFast® VP200 add-in card solution in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan), Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Leadtek’s WinFast VP200 uses PCoIP technology to create an integrated and secure corporate computing environment for desktop and workstation users. The WinFast products are available through Leadtek’s extensive network of distributors and resellers.

These PCoIP products have already been proven in a number of applications, including a recent surveillance system deployed by Teradici partner Activu® Corporation, the leading provider of distributed information display systems for control rooms. Activu product manager Michael Klein explains, “Teradici PCoIP products enabled us to implement a remote surveillance solution for our large metropolitan police department client. All the units worked flawlessly out of the box and each now transports two desktops of 1920x1200 full-motion video and 3D rendering data in a geospatial application. This is a great product with unbelievable image quality, performance, reliability and overall bang for the buck.”

About PC-over-IP

Teradici's PC-over-IP technology is a new remote computing technology that enables companies to centralize their PCs or workstations and still provide users with an uncompromised, high-performance desktop experience. The technology uses a chipset that compresses and encodes the entire PC experience at the data center and transmits it over a standard IP network to a stateless, driverless desktop “portal.” Users can work with their PC or workstation as they did before – including all applications, graphics and multimedia functions – even if the computer is located in a data center miles away.
