Senior QA Engineer

Attributes:

Teradici Corporation is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead the system level testing of our products. As part of the software team at Teradici, you will work with the firmware development team, the applications team, and others, to insure that Teradici’s products are of the highest possible quality.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in software QA, and be comfortable with managing QA processes as well as participating in hands-on testing. The candidate will develop effective test plans based on product requirements, covering a broad range of software and system level components. The candidate will organize the test and release process, and in addition will assist the development team with troubleshooting various technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the PC environment, and Windows XP/Vista.
• Working knowledge of IP networking.
• Good understanding of the software release process.
• Good understanding of practical software test mythologies, and automation techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Self-managed and hands-on.

Experience:

The Ideal Candidate will have the following experience

• 3+ years of prior software QA experience
• Strong experience in creating and developing test plans.
• Experience coding and implementing test harnesses for automated testing of complex systems.
• Experience with bug tracking and code management tools (CVS preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor of Applied Science or degree from a technical institute.
